Netflix’s Worst Ex Ever Season 2 Makes Modern Dating Look Even Scarier

One of the things I’m most proud of in my life is my eighteen-year marriage. When I hear some of the horror stories about the dating world in 2026, I can’t imagine being single during this time. So, when a show like “Worst Ex Ever” comes along, I feel even more for those navigating the dating world.

The second season of the popular Netflix show arrives with four new episodes in conjunction with Blumhouse Productions. A significant draw for this season will surely be the first episode titled “Dating the Deadpool Killer,” which focuses on Wade, also known as the “Handsome Devil Killer.” The primary interview subject in this episode is Kelly, who courageously shares her experiences.

Episode 2, titled “Primetime Predator,” focuses on former “90 Day Fiancé” cast member Geoffrey Paschel, who has a dark past involving ex-wives and ex-girlfriends. Episode 3, “A Fatal Attraction,” centers on Katie, who becomes involved with a woman named Joyce and quickly learns that she isn’t what she seems. The final episode, titled “Ride or Die,” follows a recent divorcee who finds herself in a fight for her life after falling for the wrong man.

Similar to the first season, this sophomore season uses testimonials, bodycam footage, and animated reenactments to tell its stories. I was hooked on each episode as the creative team allowed the subjects to tell their stories without assigning blame. Out of respect for some viewers, I won’t go into detail about some of the manipulation tactics used by the exes, but it certainly highlights how selfish and deceitful some people can be.

If I had one critique about the show, it’s that they haven’t focused on men surviving crazy ex-women, so hopefully that angle will be explored in Season 3. Nevertheless, “Worst Ex” is a solid addition to the series, and I hope to see “Worst Boss Ever” as the next installment.

Final Grade: B
